I prepare my own age appropriate curriculum for the day care. It is based on 3 themes which change monthly. It also includes 3 numbers, 3 letters (in print and in sign language), a color and a shape every month..
I maintain basic methods that I believe nurture children’s learning. My methods are exemplified in the activities I do with the kids.
Our activities are in the fields of:
- Sense related activities (smell, sight, feel, hear and taste)
I like kids to learn by doing things themselves and provide them with an endless amount of enthusiasm as well as tools to explore with. My daycare is filled with toys, games, musical instruments, books and computers. Also, your child will often bring home a story or song we talked about during the day, so that you can read or sing it with them and their art and craft projects.
